Privacy Policy

How YSKAIPE collects, uses, and protects your information.

Effective Date: April 23, 2026 Last Updated: April 23, 2026 Version: 1.0
The short version We collect what we need to introduce homeowners to contractors and run a fair marketplace — things like your name, contact info, project details, location, and payment info (for contractors). We do not sell personal information. We share data with the service providers who help us run the platform (Stripe, Supabase, Vercel, Resend, Foursquare) under contracts that restrict what they can do with it.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Peaking Waters LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company doing business as YSKAIPE ("YSKAIPE," "we") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, mobile experience, and related services (the "Platform"). It applies to homeowners, contractors, and visitors.

By using the Platform, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us

  • Account information: name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, and (for contractors) business name, trade, license number, and insurance information.
  • Project information (homeowners): job description, property address or ZIP, photos, preferred timeline, and budget signals.
  • Communications: messages you send to us or to other users through the Platform, and support requests.
  • Payment information (contractors): subscription payment details are collected and processed by Stripe; we receive limited information (last four digits, card brand, billing ZIP) sufficient to identify the payment method.
  • Reviews and ratings: content you submit about a contractor or a job.

2.2 Information we collect automatically

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, time stamps, and click-through behavior;
  • Approximate location: derived from IP address or ZIP code you provide, used to match you with nearby contractors;
  • Log data: server and application logs for security and debugging; and
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 11).

2.3 Information from third parties

  • Foursquare / Places API: geocoding of addresses and nearby-business lookups;
  • Stripe: subscription status, failed-payment notifications; and
  • Publicly available sources: contractor licensing status from state licensing boards.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Operate the Platform and match homeowners with contractors;
  • Calculate, improve, and display the Fair Rate Index (using anonymized and aggregated data);
  • Process contractor subscriptions and prevent fraud;
  • Send transactional messages (magic-link logins, lead assignments, receipts) and, with consent where required, marketing messages;
  • Provide customer support and resolve disputes;
  • Monitor and secure the Platform, investigate violations, and enforce our Terms;
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests; and
  • Conduct analytics to improve the Platform.

4. How we share information

4.1 With other users

To make the marketplace work, we share project information with matched contractors (homeowner name, contact info, project description, property ZIP or address as you choose) and share contractor information with homeowners (business name, trade, profile, pricing, reviews).

4.2 With service providers

We share information with vendors who process data on our behalf under confidentiality and data-protection obligations. These include Stripe (payments), Supabase (hosted database and auth), Vercel (hosting), Resend (transactional email), Foursquare (location/geocoding), and analytics providers as disclosed in our cookie notice.

4.3 For legal reasons

We may disclose information if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; to protect rights, property, or safety; or to investigate fraud or security incidents.

4.4 In business transactions

If YSKAIPE is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections and prior notice where required by law.

4.5 We do not sell personal information

We do not sell personal information and do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under applicable state law.

5. Service providers and sub-processors

6. Retention
